Because this site does so well I don't need one. Why do I now have an affiliate programme? Because I'm greedy. LOL! Also I'm curious how well an affiliate programme will do. Everyone has one, so I might as well.
As you probably noticed, my site is a simple amateur site with no bells and whistles. It's hard to compete with the big guys, so I don't even try. This site does have something the biggies don't and that is a true amateur theme and a simple site without a tech or a suit trying to pinch every penny out of you. This site is only a hobby of mine and I do give it a personal touch and I am very easy to get along with. When someone subscribes to this site they pay $19.95 and receive access for 60 days. I do not have recurring memberships. With recurring memberships you are automatically renewed unless the subscriber cancels the account themselves. I don't believe in recurring accounts. Too many people get screwed and have to pay for something they may not want anymore. I run an honest site and with the present economy, I don't want people spending anymore than they have to. That said, the following are the terms of my affiliate programme.
You put one of my banners on your site and if someone signs up from your banner or link you get 50% of the sale. That's all there is to it. Verotel handles the rest.
The only approved banners are the ones you will see when you sign up as an affiliate. If you want to make your own, just send me an E Mail and attach the banner and 99% of the time I will approve it. I just don't want any freaky stuff advertising my site. If you want the banner to be exclusive to your site just tell me and I won't add it to the list and the other affiliates won't see it.
